This Thursday, January 6, 2011, Dr. Trisha Kehaulani Watson will be giving a lecture on the cultural significance of the Hawaiian monk seal. The 45 minute presentation will include a review of the current research being done on the ecological and ethnographic history of monk seals in Hawai`i. A power point presentation will be given showing some of the current findings of the research.
